Summary

Complex services the long-term Operation and Maintenance contract for Scrivener Dam for the National Capital Authority. The contract involves the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the dam, monitoring of lake levels, flood modelling and operation of the dam during flood events. Since taking over from the incumbent service provider, our team of experienced dam operators, hydrologists and engineers have drastically improved the condition and operation of the dam.

We have developed hydrological models that allow us to proactively assess risk and model flood events. This allows us to safely operate the dam during major flood events, minimise the impacts of flooding upstream and downstream of the dam and maintain a consistent lake level, despite highly variable inflows volumes. Complex is passionate about dams’ structures and providing leading asset maintenance services.

We are a organisation and voting member of the Australian National Committee on Large Dams (ANCOLD) and our successful management of Scrivener Dam serves of evidence of our exceptional performance
